Reason for confusion can be different like we feel confused when we have too many thoughts about something or when there is lack of knowledge or when there are too many different opinions and other reason can be lack of sleep, when we don't get proper sleep we tend to feel tired and due to which our brain doesn't function effectively and we get confused doing various tasks at a time.
