What to do when you are confused? How to solve this problem of confusion?

What to do when you are confused? How to solve this problem of confusion?

‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍Confusion is a state of mind when you understand what is right or wrong. Reason for confusion can be different like we feel confused when we have too many thoughts about something or when there is lack of knowledge or when there are too many different opinions and other reason can be lack of sleep, when we don't get proper sleep we tend to feel tired and due to which our brain doesn't function effectively and we get confused doing various tasks at a time. So we can see there are many reasons to get confused. Being confused for a long period of time can be overwhelming, stressful and frustrated.

Now the question arises what to do when there is confusion? How to solve this problem of confusion?

To answer this we have to ask necessary questions to ourselves. Take pen or pencil and notebook or paper and write the following questions asking you and answer mindfully and honestly. Those are as follows:-

1. What we are confused about? :

Write what is the source of this confusion. This will give you clarity about what is making you confused and what is the problem which you have to solve. I mean when we do not clearly know the problem than how can we solve it? So having clarity about the source of confusion is important.

2. What are the different opinions causing this confusion? :

write every thought comes into your mind about the reason you are getting confused. The thoughts can be negative and positive. Write each and then see what is realistic and what is just imaginative fear or negativity in your mind.

3. How does this confusion bothers me?

write how this confusion is making you feel and in what way.

4. Why the confusion needs to get solved?:

write what you'll get after the confusion gets solved and you are clear about what is right and wrong and what is needed to be  done.

5. Who can help me solve this confusion? :

write the name of the people who can help you in this situation, they can be your family members, friends, wise relative or your teacher or professor and even a good neighbor. Talk to them who understand you and your thoughts and doesn't feel any disturbance listening to you.

Listen to their thoughts or valuable suggestions and opinion but make sure listen to everyone but do only what you feel is correct. With me what happens is while talking to my best friend about something which confuses me, just by sharing my thoughts with her gives me clarity and removes the confusion from my head.

6. What are the other practical ways through which I can solve this confusion? :

What all can provide you clarity about the questions regarding the confusion, write that. These are sources which can help you. When I feel confused about something I try to find the answer through internet. I read articles related to it and watch relevant videos. Then I analyze and go according to my strong intuitions, understanding and practical points as well.

By finding answers to all these questions and applying these ways you will gain clarity about the thought which is creating confusion.
