Happens with all of us!

Life can be extremely stressful and during that phase of life we find ourselves struggling, overwhelmed, anxious and even helpless too. At times life seems so strange to us that everything looks unbelievably overwhelming and a kind of blank feeling we get inside about which we are aware but we don't really know how to deal with it.

 


We consciously know all the solutions to our problems but the circumstances or I may say our state of mind is so tense that we can't act upon the plan we may have created to overcome those problems. That is the time when stress becomes too much to handle.

 


Well I believe this can happen due to many reasons such as an inactive lifestyle, lack of mindfulness which leads to consequences like conflicts in relationships, over reaction to office politics which you know we should always avoid, more financial issues and the major consequence is poor health.

 

Don't go the wrong way!

Some people use wrong ways to fight this feeling like using sedatives or alcohol and engaging in wrong activities but these ways are not efficient to make that stressful feeling vanish, these are just ways to escape from it for some time and which eventually leads to put you in worse conditions.


 

Find and embrace the best solution!

The best way to fight and defeat stress is thinking positive keep faith on God and being grateful for what is right at the moment, what good you have even if it is a tiny thing which is serving you in a good way like a bed to sleep on and a friend or loved one to at least to talk to.

  


In my case it's my mother's lap. The peaceful, safe and comforting feeling I get keeping my head into my mother's lap makes the worries vanish and the relaxed mind helps me think clearly, positively and also helps in taking right decisions. I just feel so grateful for having my parents around me in difficult moments and of course other blessings of God I have like good friends, food and the internet.



 Not only this but presently I feel blessed to have an internet connection especially at this difficult time of pandemic when the internet connection and good quality mobile phone are most useful which contributes to our productivity making our lives quite smooth on a day-to-day basis. I am sure you feel the same as me… aren’t you?

 

How to do it?

The only thing we have to do is become more conscious about this power. We have to change our inner state and kick out stress from inside us. When we have inner peace no problem can be so harmful to us as with inner peace and calmness we think better, we start seeing the solutions and answers to our question.


 

Positivity and gratitude let the Universe know what we need and value and then it brings the solutions to us. Most of the time solutions lie within us but because of so much hustle bustle we can see it. It's like you're wearing your specs on your head and finding it all over the house and then you sit calmly thinking about where you kept it and touch your head until you realize you had it with you all the time.

 

Get rid of the fake beast!

Stress is nothing but just fear of what will happen and fear is an illusion. This illusion creates a mental block and stops us from doing the right things and knowing and utilizing our full potential to reach greatness.


 

Sometimes fear is good when it just makes you alert about possible danger but when fear takes the shape of stress and anxiety then its mere illusion when we start seeing a small cat as a lion that is coming to eat us. And we get so frightened that we don't even take a small step to hush the cat away from us.


Conclusion:-

Gratitude is a ray of light in dark moments. It makes us realize and see mindfully what we are blessed with and how our lives are so much better than what we thought it was.

When I see my books, pen, notebook I feel that I'm blessed that I have education and I can make a living through my education.



 When we realize that we can actually do something to solve a situation then our stress starts diminishing gradually and we feel the situation, whatever it may be, is in control and ultimately the stress goes away.

So when we are stressed, we must practice gratitude which makes us see the positive things around us and do our work or take action keeping faith in God and having patience.


Write everything you are grateful for whatever you have which brings smile on your face or give you comforts and relief in a piece of paper. You can also use a digital platform or tools too to do so such as your phone or tablet if you can't carry a hardcopy notebook everywhere.

It is good also because you make by mistake misplace your notebook or diary but that will rarely happen in case you do it on your device because you are most used to keeping it with you all the time.

 


 It is said that we must write what we are grateful for before going to bed at night but according to my experience, I will suggest that it is even better writing things or experiences you are grateful for every time you feel joy or stress because by doing so, during the whole day you will stay only in a positive, content and will have peaceful state of mind even in worrying situation as you will have memories of what all going in favor and the pressure of the nerve-racking situation won’t make you feel that everything is getting out of control and your calm mind will let you take appropriate action towards solving the difficulty you are facing at that moment. So this is how gratitude is truly a powerful weapon against stress!
