Caring about us is what self-care means in simple words but practicing self-care is not that simple as this direct statement defines it. Self-care is self-love I have noticed self-care is what we lack in nowadays because of which many of us are facing lot of problems spiritually, mentally and physically.

Self-care is not
being selfish it is just like how you take care of your best friend being your
own best friend caring about yourself and making yourself your first priority.
It makes us helps in making us healthy, mentally strong ad reduces clutter and
stress from our lives making it way more productive than we think it could have
been without self-love. When we care for ourselves, we are able to care for
other’s that is our loved ones better and it makes every relationship
beautiful.

How to do self-care spiritually?
Praying is the one word answer for this question. Connect with your Creator. Talk to the Creator in your prayers. If you follow a particular religion and you like to perform some rituals you can feel connected to God like you can visit to holy places like Church, Gurudwara, temple and mosque.
You can read sacred
books too to feel connected to God. I personally light up holy sticks every day
and pray and talk to God about all my thoughts and thank for everything I have
been blessed with as I feel and believe God is my best friend and a special
energy who has created me to see me turn out to be my best version, By doing so
I stay away from loneliness and despair as well.
How to do self-care mentally?
We feel stressed and overwhelmed because of our daily hectic life whether we are working at home or as an employee or even as business person. We also go through various personal issues related to our family or peers or our personal lives all this can be too much to handle.
At this time we need to find out some
ways through which we can feel better, reduce the level of stress and make ourselves
feel relaxed. We can write daily journal to bring out our all the thoughts
which are causing worrisome.
Follow hobbies can also be good way of keeping
mind upbeat. Learning new skills also helps. Exercising is also good for
reducing stress and anxiety, especially dancing. Talking to family and friends
can also be beneficial.
How to do self-care physically?
By adapting, maintaining and following right healthy habits we can care for our body and keep it in its best state. Being our own best friend we can guide us about what is good for our body and what is not.
For example, as we already know
that eating junk food is not good for health so we can tell ourselves and make
us eat healthy food instead of eating junk food.
